PowerDVD and Arcsoft Media Theatre Integration

I am trying to integrate one of the player above with SageTV.

I have all the ripped SD/HD/BLU in HDD. If i use SageTV Software to play it from the folders will it open using one of the PowerDVD or Arcsoft players for playback. Also does SageTV software have inbuilt downloads for Pictures for DVD and cast information from IMDB etc...

Thanks in advance

Use this to run an external app like PowerDVD or Arcsoft to play HD/Blu-Ray.
External Apps Plugin

This capability is actually built into the SageMC 16x9 STV.

I use neilm's Dynamic Menu to launch PDVD. Since I use Vista Aero, I don't need to worry about minimizing Sage or FSE, PDVD just grabs focus and runs over the top. PDVD responds natively to MCE commands (which I use with Sage) so I just press play on my Harmony. When finished, I mapped Ctrl-X (PDVD Exit) to the Exit button on the Harmony, and I'm back to Sage. I added the Sage background to a PDVD skin so it looks and runs about as seemlessly as your going to get. Since you're playing from folders, you'll just have the extra step of navigating to your content.
