Color calibration, where's that?

When I go into Setup -> Setup Video Sources -> AverMedia BDA Analog Capture Digital TV Tuner I'm supposed to have a Color Calibration option to choose. It's not there. Where else would it be I wonder.

There's nothing to calibrate for a digital tuner because all it is doing is saving the digital stream that is received.

Is there a way to modify the recorded file to change the brightness? I only ask because sometimes I play my recordings on my iPod and they're really dark in the sun. Maybe I need a device for my iPod to brighten the thing up or something.
