Preview Video needs to tell you what it is thats being played

Well I'm just starting to play with the new build... its a big change and sure there are things missing at the moment.. i mostly use my setup with a mouse so i do feel it quite a bit at the moment.. other than that though its nice to have it to play with...

Anyways I miss livetv option and going via the tv guide you go into that screen and get the video preview.. the thing is there is no indication of what you are actually looking at (what channel/programme) its quite taxing and you are not sure on whether you want to select other programs for fear of changing the channel.. i'm sure if it's recording it it would handle this.. still it would be nice if either it had it written, or you could get tool tips with the mouse, or you could show it on the schedule as it used to be ( you used to have a box round the channel that was currently tuned to ) .. don't know if you plan to reduce these boxes on programmes tho to improve and reduce the clutter of the guide..

The preview seems snappier in VMR9 but its not working properly at the moment for me (tearing in the video)... but i do miss the rows on the EPG... i think along with toggling it on and off it would be nice to have different sizes for this video.. plus being able to perhaps hide the video whilst keeping the audio.... a double click on the preview to go to full screen viewing directly would be nice..

Anyways all in all its all good and i'm sure its going to get better.. well done guys.. and thanks
