HD100 and transcode DTS audio?

Hi all,
I got my HD100 yesterday and everything's working great, but I have a question.
I have an MKV file that has DTS audio, but I have an old school 2 channel stereo.

My output from the HD100 to the TV is HDMI then I have the stereo out from the TV going to my receiver.
Is there any way I can play the MKV with the DTS audio without having a DTS receiver?

It's working as expected now (video plays, but no audio) but didn't know if there was a way around this short of re-ripping the video.

Thanks.

Agreed.. the only problem is that the WAF went way up with the HD100, if I suggest upgrading the stereo it'd crash and burn.

Maybe this summer..

When you decide to upgrade and looking for something cheap but high quality, I highly recommend checking out shoponkyo.com....You can pick up a basic DD/DTS receiver for less than $100.

I have the same problem with a couple of mkv files. I found this in the popcorn hour wiki. (I used to own one of these before the HD100 became available again). http://www.networkedmediatank.com/wi...ert_DTS_to_AC3

I've tried this on one file and it seems to work fine. I had to choose "3/2 SW 5.1 Channel " in the AC3filter config in order to get the conversion to work.
I also only have stereo through the TV available in the living room as of right now so this does get me by for now.
