Missing Videos in Video Library
I have imported my video directory from a shared network drive - and many of them are missing from within SageTV client and Placeshifter.
I am running 6.3.10. Any ideas why some videos would show up and others would not? I am using SageMC STV. Many Thanks! T |

When using a custom STV, always try a default setup before posting in this forum section.
If the videos don't show up in the default STV, there are a variety of reasons why they might not show up, from video formats that aren't supported to lack of permission to read a network path, to not enough time for the import process to complete, to whatever else. Often, the service has not been configured to log in as a user w/a password who has permission to access a UNC path. Or, mapped drive letters were used and the service can't access mapped drive letters. Or, check the debug log for any comments about your the files. - Andy

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the posts. As suggested I returned to the default STV. The files were still missing - so I removed all the import directories, rebooted, added them again. And now they appear - even when I use the SageMC STV. I had recently upgraded to 6.3.10 - so I wonder if the upgrade had corrupted something? Anyhow - working now so thanks for the help! T |
