You're right I read right over that part. Once I loaded the default STV it worked just as advertised. Now I have to figure out how to edit the OnlineVideoUIText.properties so I can use SageMC.

Thanks

You can't-unless you're real good in Studio. They will usually update the SageMC with the new stuff from the default when they get time and the feature makes sense.

Gerry

I didn't mean update SageMc I meant update the OnlineVideoUIText.properties file.

Someone using SageMC will have to verify, but I think it is just using an older form of the onlive video code. All you may have to do in OnlineVideoUIText.properties is add these three lines for new feeds:

Category/<feed name>/ThumbURL=<URL link to thumbnail image>
Category/<feed name>/LongName=<title of feed to display in SageTV>
Category/<feed name>/ShortName=<(shorter) title of feed to display in SageTV>

Where <feed name> is the name of the feed you used on the line where you defined the feed:

<feed name>/URLContext=<Feed URL>

Of course, you'll need to keep backup copies of the online video properties files, because as I said before, they will get overwritten when a new version of SageTV is installed.

Sorry-I misread and thought you were talking about the Cutsom online stuff. As Opus says you can probably get the online to work but will lose the edits on an upgrade.

You edited you file in notepad and it provided a .txt extension, you need to remove this. The correct extension is .properties

Found that Revision3 has a handful of tvshows. I see SageMC has diggnation and tekzilla. Would be nice for some other feeds from the site. I'm going to try to add them manually (hope I won't screw things up). I would like to see other websites of what other people use listed here. I think online shows are the wave of the future.
