Duplicate imports

Does the following bug fix in 6.3.10 mean that my double imports (explained below) will no longer work?

Quote:
12. Fixed bug with duplicate imports of the same file. The import process now checks the database's file path index to ensure something wasn't added asynchronoulsy during the import process.
In my media server I have everything sorted into folders by genre. I have always imported everything twice into sage, one import path for \\server\movies and several more, such as \\server\movies\action, \\server\movies\drama, etc. This allows me to browse by genre in sage, but also scroll past these to just see the entire list of movies together. Since updating to 6.3.10 I've noticed that new files only show up within their genre folders, and not in the "big list." I'm assuming this is by design now? Note that this really doesn't bother me, I'm just curious. If this is the case, I will just get rid of all the specific import paths, because as my collection grows, I rarely if ever scroll past the genre folders to look at the big list anymore. I've been thinking about getting rid of the double import system for awhile, and this might just be the final nail in the coffin.

I'm not sure how that release note affects this, but I'm not sure of the purpose of having import paths that are subdirectories of other import paths.

SageTV already searches all the subdirectories of any import path & you can then view the folder structure on the video browser's Folder view, while all imported videos can be seen on the Titles view.

The titles view is problematic for me. With episodic content, like podcasts, you have to scroll down through each and every episode before you get past that section of the library. I have a lot of this type of content so it's actually a pretty big deal to me. With my setup, I exclude the subdirectory imports for these problematic files so that I only get to them by drilling down in folder view. This gives me the best of both worlds. That said, as I mentioned above, I pretty much never use my "big list" anymore, (which I guess you would consider very similar to the titles view) so it really isn't a problem for me. I'm just curious.
