placeshifter putten the hurt on processor

running placeshifter on a p3 1ghz xp home system and processor is at 100%. Is there any way to reduce the strain on the processor?

Here's a couple of threads when I was trying to figure out how to configure Placeshifter to work on an old laptop of mine; lots of configuration stuff in there:

Note that the first step to do under the advanced options is turn off the dynamic streaming option for Placeshifter if your placeshifting client is on the LAN.

yeah, I see this - up to 60% on my dual core 2.0

but, using no visable ram - can that be possible?
