CDVDMsgWindowsClassName

HI All,

I'm seeing something very strange that I can't find anything about on the forums or even on Google search. I'm using SageMC and when I press play on a dvd a tiny little window pops up in the top left hand side of my screen and takes focus away from sage. The movie plays fine but obviously I lose control of sage. The tiny little window just has a message on it that says CDVDMsgWindowsClassName. When I look in the task manager and hit switch to process it goes to sage which makes me thing it's related.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on here or how I can get around it?

I do not quite understand your answer. I used the MCEIR replacement driver as suggested in your great instructions. I just tried rolling back to the eHome driver to see if the probelm would go away. But it did not.

You need to define the application window class name for the application that is causing the problem. When you enter any application in Hip, using the program to switch to that application Hip checks all of the Windows (and the applications that own them) and switches to the first matching window for that application. There are problems with applications that have multiple windows and Hip selects the wrong one when displaying the application. In this case, you have to tell Hip to use the Window of the name (class) "XXXX" and Hip will select this one first.

Maybe this is the same thing you are seeing?
