HVR-1600 ver. 1101 Clear QAM Support

I see Hauppauge has a version 1101 of the HVR-1600 with FM support. It's just a couple dollars more than the 1178 version I already own, but I'm not sure if the 1101 has Clear QAM support. Anyone have more info on this?

EDIT: I called Hauppauge tech support and asked them. They said the model number (1101 or 1178) does not determine if a board has Clear QAM support, but anything made in the last 6 months does. This is not how I would run a business, but that's their decision. It makes a lot more sense to change the model number when you change something important like that.

Anyway, I'll just wait until Circuit City has another sale vs. buying a board mail order that might be old stock without Clear QAM support.
