recording directory per user?

Is it possible to have different recording directory for each
user (media mvp/hd extender/pc client/placeshifter) ?
OR
more than recording/archive folders/flags?

Recording directories can not be user-specific. You can have as many recordings directories as you want and these can be on different drives or machines. But for simplicity sake it is seen as "Recordings" in Sage.

Are you coming from BTV? I asked pretty much the same question when I came over from BTV recently.

One of the suggestions was to use keywords for your recordings and then setup a filter that base based on the keyword.

I have installed SageMC and I see how I can assign an arbitrary keyword. However, I don't see how I can access the keywords with the filters in SageMC. I see how I can setup filters by keyword in the standard sage UI, but I can't add keywords to recordings there.

So the bottom line is that I haven't been able to figure out how to simulate it.

The other downside to not having control over where the recording is placed, is that you can't go view the directory in Explorer and see it separated by user. My wife is going to kill me when she finds out about that short coming.

We also used that feature of BTV when my wife got ahead of me in watching a particular series; she would move the files she watched into my directory.

Anyway, if you figure out the keyword thing, post here.
