Can Sage support Firewire input

It sounds like Comcast is starting to roll out new firmware for the HD STB's that enables the DVI AND Firewire ports. So now the question, can Sage support recording via firewire input? Or would I need some other type of software?

Thanks
Andy

Sage records what hardware-based tuners output. So, without being an expert on how the device you mention works, I would imagine you need mpeg2 output from that device and a driver to read it in from the firewire port -- one that SageTV could talk to in order to receive the mpeg2 stream. SageTV itself does not to the encoding.
