Mac 6.4.0 beta Placeshifter - no video

Just saw the new version. I did a placeshifter re-install. No change. Well, just massive flickering with a string of artifacts from the top left to the bottom right. I tried to grab the window, but the tiff was all white. Hm..

Edit: There's also good news! I just re-installed the mac client and the OSD issues I had are gone.

6.4.0.a = No video.... I even deleted the dirs suggested.

COuld it be I am connecting to a PC server sage install (latest release)

yep, no video with 6.4.0a for me either. I tried different combinations of settings and also threw away my SageTV folder too. this is on a MacBook.

Do a screen grab or use the selection tool (Command-Shift-4), grabbing just the window doesn't work right due to the way it's being composited

Is this placeshifter or client? The folders are for client or full app only, they won't affect the placeshifter.

Ok guys, the problem occurs when you connect to a 6.3 (or earlier) server and has been corrected. I didn't see it since I'm running the 6.4 app here. Blowing the dust off the old PC and booting it up allowed me to reproduce it

The PS/client UI scaling problem happens when animations are turned off, turning them on works around it. This has also been addressed.

New builds shortly after some verification is done...

C2D iMac fullscreen HD at 1680x1050
C2D mini fullscreen HD at 1900x1200
G5 iMac fullscreen SD and DVD-Standard at 1440x900 (type g wireless)

Scaling, OSD - everything is looking good so far

G4 mini, well - as soon as the PS is initialized the mouse is taken hostage, cursor disappears, keyboard control only. Video seems ok, though.- Could the MS wireless mouse be the culprit?

Edit: After connecting a vanilla mac usb mouse the problem disappears, and I can play fullscreen DVD Standard quality at 1280x960, barely though.
