TV Shows showing in Media Center Videos

Somehow SageTv lost all its settings and put me back into the configuration wizard again.

I reverted back to a backup from a month ago, everything seems to be fine except all recorded tv is showing up under the Video section under Media Center which is annoying as it's cluttering up my home movies. DVD's etc.

Anyone got any ideas on how to get the tv shows out of there without deleting them? i.e. so that they can continue to be listed under Recorded TV. The TV recording directory is not under the "Media Center Import Directories" in setup.

Thanks.

If the airing info for those shows isn't in the database (wiz.bin), then there is nothing to match the recordings to.

The bottom of this FAQ has something you could try, if there happens to be airing info in the database that the file just isn't being matched to. Or, you could use the webserver mentioned there to manually add info & make a file look like a recording.

BTW: I suggest keeping more frequent backups of wiz.bin and all your properties files, at a minimum. I don't know what happened to lose your old database -- while the database shouldn't just disappear, there are always possibilities of losing files on a PC.
