Feature Requests: For Aspect Ratio and Search

Request 1:
It would be nice to have separate default aspect ratio for DVDs. If not, perhaps have a command to cycle through the different ratios, so I would only need to map 1 button to the remote.

Request 2:
The search menus could work like cell phone buttons when typing letters i.e. press 2 twice and b is inputed. That way would be easier than trying to navigate the screen, but might be less than great for people with remotes not labelled like the hauppauge one.

Bug?
It seems to take a few extra left buttons to exit the detailed setup screen after going into any menu other than general.

I think it's the way back works, it seems like it works like back in an internet browser more than up directory in Windows Explorer.

You're right, it is more like back than up. Personally, I think up would be more useful than back but maybe that would be hard if there is more than one way to get "down" to a menu.

I do like the fact that when you change renderer in Video setup that back (left) takes you to Reload Media Player automatically. That's one of those details that's nice to see, it really shows they took some time and put some thought into the UI navigation.

Another interesting thing I noticed about back is that it seems to be limited to about 10 (I never counted) actions. I browsed around the detailed setup a few times and found that back stopped taking me back after a few presses. Not a problem, just an interesting insite into the inner workings of 2.0.
