More Cheap Hard Drives!

4/27/03 - 5/3/03

Office Max has the Western Digital 120GB 7200rpm 2MB cache drive for $159.99 - $10 IR - $80 MIR - $30off$150 coupon = $40 plus tax.

$0.30 per GB...that's the best price I've seen in a long time!

Where did you see this deal? Are the dates 4/27 - 5/3, correct? I'd be stupid not to pick one up!

Thanks for sharing!

Wow.. I'll have to get 2 or 3 of em. 1 per household on the rebates I guess, but my parents, girlfriend, sister, etc can each use a new hard drive

Anyone else take advantage of this today?

I've done even one better - I ended up getting a WD 120GB drive at Circuit City on Thrusday morning for $10, and then picked up the WD 120GB drive at Office Max this morning for $40. Both after MIRs, but $50 for 240GB (actually about 223 formatted) has got to be the deal of the year.

My officemax told me there is no $30 rebate on the WD drive. Just an $80 rebate making the final cost $69.99. Still not too bad, but not as good as $40

Mark, is Circuit City still offering that great deal, or was it just a Thursday morning deal?

Check out the fatwallet hot deals forum to find a 30 off 150 coupon. Office Max mailed me one a couple of weeks ago that was for online purchases only, but the online drives were sold out this morning, so my local Office Max store manager accepted the coupon in store, making the final cost of my OM drive $40 plus tax.

The Circuit City deal was one that I just happened to back into, and turns out was only good for about 2 hours on Thursday morning. Saw that one on fatwallet as well.
