Hauppauge WinTV 350: S-Video input

Hi,

I have a WinTV 350.
I want to use a SCART-to-S-Video cable to get video from my external digital receiver into SageTV.

I bought a SCART-to-S-video cable and connected it. I then set my receiver to S-Video output for that SCART connector.
In Sage I configured a new setup to use the S-Video input.
But my video is weird, sometimes I get a picture like 0.1 second with weird colors, then 0.5 seconds black video, then again the picture and so on.

Are there any special settings that need to be done for using WinTV 350 within SageTV?

Yes, I checked that I have the latest drivers yesterday. I think they are from 2005...
