color control panel
Does SageTv have its own color control panel for brightness, color etc. or do you have to use the video cards color control panel? I just downloaded the demo, I like the user interface.

Check out Setup -> Setup Video Sources -> (Select Video Source) -> Color Calibration
This may be what you are after.
