Adding 2nd HDHR shuts down the sagetvservice?

I have added a second HDHR unit. When I try to add it, it shows up in the source list. I get to the the point of choosing the tuner, I select "Digital TV Tuner", it starts its whirl dance, then tells me that it has lost the connect to the sage service and will reconnect once the service restarts.

I look at the process and sure enough, sagetvservice is gone. I have rebooted the server many times and get the same results.

Anyone else getting this behavior?

TIA

OK, why did this post get moved? This is not a hardware issue. The HDHR works great with VLC. It is sage that I am having problems with. Sage shuts down not the HDHR.

... you said you have an issue with a tuner being used with SageTV.

Are you setting it up on the server or a client? I would recommend setting the STV back to the default SageTV3.xml STV and perform the configuration on the server if you are not doing that already. Also make sure you are running the latest for the HDHR 20080430. The previous 20080428 caused a hw crash that usually stopped the SageTV service from running. It would require 3 or 4 restarts and crash it when a recording would start for some PCs. It did for me and I was running WHS which is essentialy Winodws 2003 server.
