Crystal Palace DVB-T Frequency File

Does anyone have an upto date frequency file with all the available channels, I seem to be missing a few in Sage but if I search with a normal freeview box I get loads more.
I write a list of the missing ones next and see if I can see any reason why.

Also if I get a complete freq file for crystal palace what would I need to do in order to put this into my system.

Thanks for the help
Simon

Question

I've created below a list of channels that I can receive from Crystal Palace on my Freeview box against those that I receive on SageTV box.
Anyone any advice on why I'm 15 channels short on SageTV I've used the same aerial cable in the Freeview box that was plugged into the DVB-T card when the scan was done.

First of I don't receive from Crystal Place but from Heathfield

However, I have had similar reception problems. I found that from the Heathfield transmitter that some of the muxes weren't being broadcast exactly on the specific frequencies. My Topfield PVR picked them all up perfectly so I could only assume that it has better AFC than the card I was using.

I purchased DVBViewer because I wanted to view satellite. I discovered that it comes with a utlity callled TransEdit (Actually this is a free download so that you can test out your card prior to buying DVBViewer).

I used it to do "blind scan" of the frequencies being transmitted by Heathfield and then altered the .frq file to the middle of the range of frequencies found for each mux. This appears to have resolved the spefic problems I was having. Using TransEdit also has the benefit that it will find channels that aren't actually active e.g. BBC3 & BBC4 before 7pm.

The heathfield frequencies I have found are as follows (as an example):
538000 = 538030
578000 = 578030
682000 = 681900
690000 = 689900
714000 = 713900
738000 = 738030

Whilst not directly answering your question, I hope it may be of some help

Thanks Logsvp

I've had a look for TransEdit but I can only find demo versions which do not do the blindscan.
Do you have any link where I could download a non demo version from ?

Thanks
Simon

I didn't realise that Blind Scan wasn't available in the demo version. It looks like you would have to purchase DVBViewer (15Euros) to get the full version.

You can look at http://www.ukfree.tv/txdetail.php?a=TQ339712 for details of the Crystal Place transmitter.

However, I am a lttle bit confused because looking at your list you are picking up some of the channels on muxes and not others e.g. ITV2+1 is OK but Film 4 isn't on Mux D. I am not enough of an expert to understand why this should be the case.

Simon - did you get these files in the end? I find the same problem, and would really like to get the Radio stations, but can't figure out how to resolve it. I've downloaded scanners etc. but it's beyond me!

I've really tied up with other things for a while so it's taken a bit of a back seat, haven't really done anything since my last post !
It is running and being used everyday without any problems though with the channels I have.
