beta 11 - Scrolling Recordings now confusing

I don't know about the rest of you, but for me the wrapping that was added to the existing recordings section makes looking through existing recordings confusing.

I never know exactly where I am.

When there was no wrapping in this area, it was easy to find the latest recordings and the also the oldest. Now when you get to the botttom of the screen, your back to the top without really being able to tell your back at the top and I find it confusing.

Don't get me wrong though, there are a lot of area in the program where wrapping is absolutely necessary (ie the Live Guide). But in recordings, I don't like it.

Also, now there are categories. It'd be great if the category folder had the date of the last recording and some kind of icon they means there are more items in the folder. As it is, you are sure when the last recoding in the folder is unless you go in it.

When I have quite a few recordings (as I did today), it is nice to have the ability to scroll "off the top" or bottom. It would be nice to have some delimiter showing where the "end" of the list is, however. Maybe a gap in the listings?

I would also like to be able to set things in the properties to have it display either alphabetically, by time, or genre perhaps...

I'll vote for the ability to wrap around... but have some type of delimiter so you know when you have gone back to the beginning.

Yup... I'll again add my vote for a beginning/end delimiter (but KEEP the wrap around scrolling!) and additional options for sorting the recordings.

Also, the category listing should show the number of recordings in it on the category button instead of at the top of the screen. When shows have long names, the text extends behind the preview window & the number of recordings gets lost.

[Edit] Another list that should wrap is the list of upcoming scheduled recordings. That list just keeps scrolling -- it should wrap back to the beginning like the other lists... and also have a start/end delimiter. (as v1.4 did.)

Hmmm. Yet another featur that does not work for me. Did everyone here upgrade the old beta to new or install it over 1.4.1? As you can see, Iam clearly on the new beta but catagorize and scrollin do not work. Guess I will try some reinstalls.
