PC Monitor with HDMI Input and Speakers

Enjoying my new HD100, but I have it hooked up to an old analog tv. I'd like to upgrade to a flat panel display, but I'd prefer not to pay for digital + analog tuners when I'm just going to use the input from my STV server.

Are there any LCD monitors that come with HDMI inputs and decent speakers? If not, maybe this is a good idea for a new product.

Try this monitor it appears to have what you want. I've got a smaller version that is DVI rather than HDMI and I'm not impressed with the speakers but maybe the larger monitor speakers are better.

Most small monitors under 30" don't have very good speakers, its a common complaint I read about. I also have a westinghouse and using HDMI with the HD100. They have many monitors with HDMI, including 1080P ones on the 37" and biggger.

I'm currently using a BenQ monitor. It has HDCP complient HDMI in (as well as VGA, DVI, S-VId) and can pass the HDMI audio out through a 3.5" jack for external speakers. It supports Picture in Picture. It is not a 16:9 screen, but supports true 16:9 1080P by putting small bars on the top and bottom. It works great with my PS3, and BenQ has a few newer models.

This is the monitor I'm using:

Thanks for the replies. Looks like there is a market niche for a correctly priced PC monitor with good speakers, which can play quality HD video through a HDMI interface.

As of right now, I'll probably get a DTV since it doesn't look like you save any money with the PC monitor approach.
