Newly Added Favorites not working...

I have added several new favorites for sage to record but noticed that they are not set to record. Example:

I added "Fear Itself" on channel 5 to to my favorites list. Wait a few minutes, look at upcoming recordings and its not listed. Look at the favorites manager, check future airings and 2 are listed, but not set to record. It is favorite #63, is there a limit?

Any ideas why, I searched and didn't see this issue.

Here is a FAQ that talks about both the time period covered by the schedule and several reasons why a Favorite isn't set to record. (The show you mentioned is not airing over the next 3 days.)

Well read through the FAQ. Did some testing and here is what I have. If I add a favorite and don't specify the channel it works just fine. But if I add the channel it never records. This appears to be happening since the last update of sage. I do have older favorites that have the channel selected and they work fine, just new ones that I have added have this issue.

Any idea why this happens?

I'm not sure what to say... I tried creating a new Fav and limiting it to a channel that the show airs on and it worked fine.

Are you using the default STV? If not, always try the default STV if you run into problems.

Yes I am using the default. It also will only record one show per day. Example, Oprah Winfrey comes on twice on channel 2, once at 12:35 and again at 4:00. I have it to record all first runs and reruns, any channel and any time. But it will only record the show on at 4:00.

I hate to reload sage, every time I end up doing that I end up with a zillion more errors and problems.

Any idea on how to fix this or do I just add this to the list of things I have to live with?

I don't think she puts out 2 different shows every day... aren't they the same show, or isn't one of them the same show that was aired the previous day? If they are the same show or the show is already recorded, it won't be recorded again. I looked up the show on my system & I saw them as repeat airings of the same show.

If you can find reproducible scheduling problems that aren't known reasons covered by the FAQ I pointed you to (also listed around p. 60 of the v6.3-B PDF manual), then contact SageTV tech support.
