Help w/Major Problem of Audio Loss after 2.0.11 install
I have been running 2.0.10 since it was released with no major problems, and while looking forward to many of the improvements embodied in 2.0.11, I did not have a significant problem until today, when I installed .11
After doing so, and even after uninstalling and going back to .10, I now suffer a severe problem whereby I have no audio in LiveTV Guide or while watching LiveTV after I have watched a "recorded program" If I launch Sage, go to menu, then go to LiveTV all is ok. But, as soon as I go to a recorded show and play it back for a bit....then go back to LiveTV (either on menu or full screen) I have no audio. I have been running a Creative audio driver in my audio settings successfully for a couple weeks, so I doubt that is is it...even so, I tried to change to default, but then Sage bombs when I load LiveTV......stating renderer is not avail or something to that effect. Again, I even went back to my previous version of SageTV.....10 and I still have the problem.....so I am now hosed. If anyone can help...it would be great..... I think I am stuck...unless I might have a good Windows Restore Point to go back to in XP. |

Have you tried to reinstall your drivers? That would be my first step.

Why? How could Sage hose this all up? If my drivers are working for other apps.....why would they be the problem??
I went back in System Restore and it did nothing for me either....same problem. |

Look and see if your audio driver in Sage has reset back to default. Change that to an actual decoder. Also look at your renderer and don't use default.
