aspect ratio controls seem to have no effect?
I've got a 16x9 TV,and I'm trying to configure sage to display black bars on the side of 4x3 material so that it's still in its correct AR. I've found the aspect ratio and zoom controls on the multimedia options tab, but these settings seem to have no effect. I can set "Force 4x3" zoom to 75% Horz 105% Vert, and there is no change in the video output's displayed AR (still streched to fill). I mapped the AR's to keys to ensure I was using the AR setting I thought I was, and it's still no go. What am I missing? I've tried changing all the AR zoom settings by 50% one way or another, and I've seen no change whatsoever in the video.

What resolution are you running?

720x480p is the only one I've gotten to work so far with DVI->16x9 RPTV. I'd like to run 1920x1080i, but I've yet to get the timings right for that one. Those are the only 2 resolutions the DVI claims to support on the TV.

The problem is that you're running a 4:3 aspect ratio. Sage bases it's AR settings based on your resolution, if you chose Force 16:9 you'd get a letterboxed picture.
You might want to try 848x480 if you haven't already, that's 16:9 resolution. Also might want to check out this if you haven't already: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...ght=powerstrip |

Is there anyway to override this? I've got a 4x3 pj with an anamorphic lens too that's exhibiting the same behavior now... Obivously, I cannot just switch the pj to a 16x9 resolution.
