HD100 Suddenly Goes Into Watch TV mode

Ever since I hot my HD100 it will suddenly starting watching TV for no reason. It always happeneds when I am navigating the menus. Most of the time it happens when I am in Recording Detail of SageTV Recording. I will navigate down to Delete and Delete the file and suddenly I will hear sound from a show. If I navigate all the way out of the menus I find myself Watching a random TV show that is currently airing.

Has anyone else seen this?

I have noticed something similar. It seems to be when I am done watching a show and hit Stop twice to exit playback (in SageMC). Once in a while after the second Stop press is starts playing Live TV for some reason (which I can see in the small playback window on the SageMC program details screen). I'm not sure if this is specific to the HD100 or not...

I've noticed the same thing, not sure where that's coming from and it does appear random but not infrequent. Hitting stop again twice will kill the live playback.

Just got my HD100 today and it is doing the same, doesnt seem to be a random show, but the last one I was tuned to.

Use the Options command on almost any menu to get to the Video Menu Options dialog, then make sure the Display Video on Menus is not set to Always.

That comment is for the default STV; for those of you talking about SageMC, check its forum section for help with that STV.

BTW: I found another possible reason for live TV to start playing when stopping playback in the default STV -- the next beta STV update will have the change to be tested.

But, this only affects ending playback from the playback screen -- live TV starting when you happen to move from menu to menu is probably caused by the setting I mentioned in my last post.
