|
Ran into some problems with de-interlace
So I was messing around with my de-interlacing settings last night(sonic decoders for video) and whenever I tried one of the settings, bob, weave bob and weave, I would get a mpeg-2 error. I tried both VMR and overlay but neither of them worked.

That will generally happen if you are running DXVA (hardware assist) with the decoders. Once that is enabled not all decoders will support those deinterlace options.
I know with the Intervideo ones I have to set a registry key to modify the default hardware deinterlacing it uses.
