Set recordings from external program?

Can Sagerecorder be programmed from an external source maybe by command line parameters or by editing a textfile?

Need this for interfacing with my program guide...

Yes, you can manually create events in the SageRecorder.properties file while the program is not running and it will load them the next time it is run. Just create some yourself and then look at the properties file, the format is pretty straightforward.

If you're looking for a program guide, SageTV has a fully integrated one, I'd highly recommend it.

Well, if the program guide has the german schedule available then I would be more than happy, but I doubt it

check out the SageTV Service forums, there's a possibilit for you now, in the 'subscription options' thread.

If you're using SageRecorder, you can just open the Record Schedule and do it that way. But if you're talking about from an external source, then no you can't do that currently.
