6.4.4 killed all my OTA channels!!
I see that I am not the only one who has been having this problem. I had Sage 6.3.10 installed and working perfectly with my HVR-1600, both analog as well as OTA. In fact I was picking up all the OTA digital channels perfectly.
Decided to install Sage 6.4.4 beta on Saturday since I will be getting my HD-PVR today. Made a backup of the Sage directory and installed the beta and restored the backup files. Everything works perfectly except for the OTA channels. I get a ZERO signal strength for all my OTA channels. This is using Sage 6.4.4 beta and Vista Ultimate. Just to be sure I disconnected the antenna cable and hooked it up directly to my TV and it works perfectly and I get all the channels. Next, I copied over the entire 6.4.4 folder to another location and restored the 6.3.10 folder. Again same problem, I get absolutely no singal strength for all my OTA channels. So whats going on guys?? Did 6.4.4 kill all my digital channels???? |

Lost my digital channels
Just installed 6.4.4 beta and new FW for HD100s.
(HVR-1600 & HVR-1800 tuners) Checked my setup - At server 1600 S-video -- OK 1600 digital OTA --- No signal 1800 NTSC --- OK 1800 digital OTA --- No signal WinTV --- All signals OK Scan digital channels on both cards and get 0 channels. Activated my channels for my area, but get "no video" What am I doing wrong? Last edited by jerryb33; 07-08-2008 at 01:01 PM. |

Back to 6.3.10
Went back to 6.3.10 and got my digitals (OTA) back.
1. Removed Sagetv beta (6.4.4) with Control Panel\Programs and Features 2. Installed 6.3.10 my OTA's OK 3. Removed Sagetv (6.3.10) with Control Panel\Programs and Features 4. Installed Latest Sagetv beta - D/L 7/9/08 -, No digitals again 5. Removed Sagetv beta (6.4.4) with Control Panel\Programs and Features 6. Installed 6.3.10 my OTA's OK Oh Well, no beta for me. Now my question is this, My 2 extenders have the the beta firmware 20080707 on them, Will this create a problem? As far as I can tell there is no problem YET. HVR-1600 HVR-1800 Vista Home Premium Q6600 proc. Last edited by jerryb33; 07-09-2008 at 08:54 AM. |

Have bug reports been submitted? If not, that ought to be done.
