No sound playing WMV files

Just got my SageTV HD Media Extender up and running with the latest beta server and beta firmware.

I'm not getting any sound on WMV files. No problem with any other files so far. Note this was the case with the latest non-beta firmware (before I updated with the beta) as well.

Anyone else having this issue? Thanks,
-Chris

I know the HD-100 has native abilities for WMV9, so it should be able to play them.

Format Compatibility here:
http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28697

[ Wow Narflex is one of the Founders, awesome!]

Info on my wmv file:
Format: ASF[WMV9/359Kbps 424x240@25fps, WMA8/32kHz Stereo]

I have the same issue, and havent found the cause.
Place shifter has the same issue.

I will try some from the MS site as well to test.

Word from Support on why the Microsoft official wmv's have no audio:

Quote:
The videos have wma9 audio which is not supported on the extender at this time.
No word on my wmv's with wma8 are audioless at this time.

If you have files with WMA8 this worked for me:::

Quote:
Close SageTV and the service and open up your
Sage.properties file in the SageTV folder. Look for this line

force_full_content_reindex=false
Thanks to Sage Support
