Remove Double Channels in EPG - HD and SD

I have Dish Network and I've noticed that I'm getting double channels in the EPG and I can't remove the HD channel without also removing the standard definition channel. ESPN is 140 and HD ESPN is let's say 9430...but in the Edit Channels screen ESPN and ESPN HD are right next to each other at 140 and they both show up in the guide at 140 and then ESPN HD shows up again at 9430 where it should show up.

The problem is that I don't want it showing up twice at 140...but I can't remove just the HD channel...when I click the DOT next to the HD channel the DOT next to the SD channel gets removed as well. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks!

I'm having the exact same problem. Is there any way to complete remove those channels from the line up?

SageTV used the Station Call Letters to identify channels, not the channel numbers.

Example:
10 KQED
10 KMST
10 KQEDHD
11 KQEDDT2
120 KQEDHD
121 KQEDDT2

Would render a GUIDE lineup of 10,10,10,11 and channels 120,121 would be seen as duplicates.

If your only have ONE tuner and your EPG Lineup started this way then there's a problem somewhere.
If you have TWO different tuners and some channels overlap then this is normal. You can use REMAP > Map do different LOGICAL channel to reassign the lineup number.

You can choose not to activate that channel in setup, or reassign it's logical map as I said above.
