If I can get one of these for around $350, then I'll definitely hit you up for it!

Nivida graphics have color space issues over HDMI. You could probably put togather an ITX G45 based system for less than $350.

I took another readthrough of your PC extender guide:
http://babgvant.com/blogs/andyvt/arc...-extender.aspx

I don't have a spare case or copy of Windows kicking around, so $350 would probably be a stretch if I went that route, but it looks like an interesting weekend project. The prices have come down on some of the components, too.

I was going a more apples-to-apples:

ITX Case w/ PSU: $40
G45 ITX Mobo: $115
2GB RAM: $30
CPU: $50-$70
HD: $35-$48
Total: $270 - $303

Doesn't include the OS, but you're close...

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but it seem to fit best here. I've run Bob's MigrateMCtoSage and come up with the XML file. I've got web server installed on 7.0.15 I think, now I'm going to import the XML file, what options do I need to select?

The ones chose by default are
- Overwrite existing favorites
- Overwrite Existing show information
- Overwrite existing sage tv file information
- Keep original imported filename
- Use file's original timestamp to determine file starttime

Then what do I put in the directory path to import all XML?

Thanks,
Josh

A little farther

Okay a little farther, I've got a whs setup and running the web server from a desktop system. I've got the import directory as c:\program files\sagetv\sagetv and got the xml, now I'm getting the following error.

Processing List of 2 Files:
Failed to read XML file:

2 XML Errors during parsing
XML Parse error at line line 2 col 37: Document root element "PluginRepository", must match DOCTYPE root "null".
XML Parse error at line line 2 col 37: Document is invalid: no grammar found.

The problem may be that the migration and process were written for Sage 6 and you're on Sage 7. Unless someone updates it for 7 you may need to do this with 6 and then upgrade the installation after the migration with 7.
