Record some channels only OTA and others only HD PVR?

I am considering switching to Sage. Quick question: how easy and well supported is it to schedule recordings such that my Fusion OTA ATSC tuner card is used for all of my HD local channels, and the HD PVR is used for all of my non-local HD DirectTV channels?

In doing A/B comparisons I've found the OTA HD video quality is head and shoulders more detailed than what DirectTV broadcasts, so if a program is available on a local channel I want to always only record it from my Fusion tuner card.

Is this something Sage supports through the guide setup or scheduling preferences?

Sorry if this is a newb question, just trying to figure out how viable Sage is for my needs. I'm going to try the Sage trial to experiment for myself once I build out a new HTPC, but I am waiting for the dust to clear on whether the new G45 Intel boards are going to deliver on all of their promised PAP goodness before doing my build and starting the Sage trial.

Yes, Sage can do what you want.

Each tuner, as it is setup, asks what guide/lineup to use for tuning in channels. Multiple tuners can share a single guide or different tuners can use a different guides/lineups (this is what you want). Each guide/lineup can then be customized for the channels you want it to tune in.

It isn't all that difficult but will make more sense once you've actually setup at least one tuner.

You can also set the merits of each tuner - so you're OTA tuners can be "prefered" over the HD-PVR, so that if a show is on both, the OTA will be used.
