Shows start recording in sage recordings

Sometimes when I go into sage recordings, the little preview box appears and it starts recording that show. I don't want to record something everytime I go in to see what is recorded.

Any advice?

In v.12 you can set the preview window to be Always, Never, or If Active, either of the last two will stop Sage from starting random recordings.

Unless you change the Sage Recordings display style via the Options command... which then currently overrides your preview window setting in the Detailed Setup. (as of beta 12)

I just set it to 'only if active' - and the preview window still came up in the 'recordings' menu..

You have to keep in mind that Sage is always recording. So when you go into Scheduled recordings it will show a channel being recorded. When in that screen use the options key so that the preview window is not there. There still might be some work to do on this option. I found out if you have the preview window active in live TV it will be active in scheduled recordings. So you can't really set it differently between the two. (I don't think)
