I am having the same or similar issue listed in this thread. I have college football setup as a favorite on 6 channels. I try to set todays Miss vs Wake Forest game as a manual recording but it will not record and show as a conflict. I thought a manual recording should take the highest priority and would not conflict with a favorite. I set enforce recording quality to no, however that alone did not help. I then cancelled the recording then selected it to record again. It does record, however once I add 90 minutes of padding it goes into conflict. I have tuners available after this show, regardless it is a manual regarding..... The conflict resolution screen is no help.

I have 78 favorites and it seems like many football seasons things go haywire, I deleted my wiz.bin a few times over the years, always durring football season. I setup my football withh 1.5hour padding.

I had similar issue durring the Olympics (no padding but favorite was about 6 channels), I deleted the favorite Pokemon because one 30 minute pokemon show was in conflict. Once I did this all worked fine.

I have 3-PVR150s and an Avermedia combo card using analog only.

I'm not sure if a manual recording should have priority or not however, I think this issue could be resolved if there was an option similar to an option for the favorites. The option I'm talking about is "Remove padding on back to back Favorites on the same channel". This is in the default STV under Detailed Setup/Customize. If there were a similar option for manual recordings, I think this would solve my problems at least. I'm not sure why that isn't an option since it is an option for favorites, I know it is doable. Anyway, I hope they get some little things changed so the wife will like it better.

When you select a conflict in the default STV, it shows a grid that contains the shows that conflict.

If the conflict screen doesn't show anything that it is conflicting with, then I suggest that you enable debug logging on the server and contact support to help figure out what is causing the conflict.

Yes, Manual Recordings always take priority.
