6.3 -> 6.4 upgrade?

Is bcjenkins' script for upgrading Linux SageTV installations (http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...37&postcount=6) still recommended for a 6.3.10 -> 6.4.8 upgrade? I'm running a fairly vanilla install, with just a comskip extension and Nielm's webserver.

Also, how strong is the recommendation that the HD100 firmware needs to be upgraded to 20080812_0? Can that firmware also be used with 6.3.10, in case I need to fall back to 6.3?

Here's my latest script. I move server to server.bak then decompress the archive to a new server directory. CD into the new server then run:

cp -rup ../server.bak/activkey ./
cp -rup ../server.bak/adapter?-ATSC.frq ./
cp -rp ../server.bak/RemoteClients.properties.defaults ./
cp -rup ../server.bak/clients ./
cp -rup ../server.bak/GeneratedThumbnails ./
cp -rup ../server.bak/menu.xml ./
cp -rp ../server.bak/startsage ./
cp -rp ../server.bak/stopsage ./
cp -rup ../server.bak/weather_cache.properties ./
cp -rup ../server.bak/JettyStarter.properties ./
cp -rup ../server.bak/jetty ./

It *seemed* to go OK. The biggest problem was getting the comskip extension re-installed. After failing to reenable the pre-existing one due to a null pointer exception, I downloaded the latest version and that seems to work on my HD100.

BTW, I have not yet upgraded the f/w on the HD100, and it *seems* to be working OK so far.
