SageTV - Hauppauge PVR-250 - PAL_N not working

I've installed my WinTV PVR-250 one week ago. I set my winTV2k to watch PAL-N channels here in Argentina but I couldn't set sage recorder to watch PAL-N channels. The option is not available in the advanced video capture settings inside the "video decoder" tab. There are some PAL_I, PAL_B, etc etc, another NTSCs and some SECAM but not PAL_N.
If I can set WinTV2k to watch PAL_N TV, there must be a way to use sage with PAL_N too. Can you help me?
Thank you.
If this program works fine, I am thinking about buying it.

Have you upgraded to the latest Hauppauge drivers?

Yes I did, I have last drivers, last software (wintv2k, etc).
I installed everything following a guide found in SHS hauppauge page.

This may help. Set the mmc/country_code property in the SageRecorder.properties file to 54 when SageRecorder is NOT running. Then launch it and see if it makes a difference.

mmc/country_code was set in 54. Also I tried mmc/video_format_code=1024, which I suppose is PAL_N code but didn't work.
Hauppauge modified the registry to allow wintv2000 to work in PAL_N format. This is what the patch does:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Hauppauge\hcwPNP\Override]
"VideoFormat"=dword:0000003f

I don't know if this will work but maybe it helps.

Try setting country_code to 0 so it does an auto-detect on the country.

video_format_code is only used on the Provideo cards, so it won't affect anything you're doing.

Let me know.

I changed my mmc/country_code to 0 but nothing changed.
Still black and white image. There must be a way, that's for sure.

If the problem is black and white, then read this to solve it:

The main problem is the lack of PAL_N support in Hauppauge drivers. The board itself has the cabability of show PAL_N TV without problem, but this has not been tested until one or two people (me included) bought this PVR-250 to watch and record TV here in Argetina.
Now... they've released a patch to watch PAL_N TV in wintv2k... but this program still sucks. It has lots of bugs and I am begining to hate it.
I've been talking to KevinKiller from SHS forum and he finally could release a version of wintvcap (his program to record TV in background) wich supports PAL_N, and the only way he could do this is using PAL_B and tweaking the Phillips7115 chip.
If you know him maybe you can ask him about this issue because I don't know if I am explaining myself and he know a lot about this PAL_N issue.

Thank you very much

There's a new beta version, 1.3.2, that's available on the FTP server. If you don't have access to the beta FTP server yet, send an email to support@freytechnologies.com and I'll give you the address.

The most notable changes are:
1. Fix for PAL audio
2. Fix for Creative VBDVCR audio/video sync
3. UI update for SageTV (if it looks green, then delete all of the ui/colors lines in the Sage.properties file)
4. TV out on PVR 350 (it needs to be initialized by using the WinTV application first)
5. Channel naming in SageRecorder

Please post any feedback to the beta forums, or send it to support@freytechnologies.com

One area I'm specifically looking for feedback on is audio/video sync for users of the Provideo cards.

NOTE: THIS IS BETA SOFTWARE, IT MAY NOT BE STABLE FOR YOU, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BACKING UP YOUR Frey Technologies FOLDER BEFORE INSTALLATION IN CASE YOU WISH TO REVERT TO YOUR CURRENT VERSION'S SETTINGS

Thanks, and I look forward to your feedback,
