Help! Can't reinstall SageTV 1.4!

I tried out the 2.0 beta and decided I wanted to go back to version 1.4 until the beta is further along. After uninstalling the SageTV 2.0 beta, I tried to reinstall SageTV 1.4. Unfortunately I get an error message during installation that says: AN exception occurred in Java: java.lang.NullPointerException. I tried reinstalling Java but that didn't work either. If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate your help.

Let me make one correction to my explantion above. I don't get the error during installation, I get it during start up.

After uninstalling Sage, I would completely delete its directory and then reboot before you try to reinstall.

The wiz.bin (and possibly sage.properties) is not backward compatible between versions so you need to get rid of it before using an older version.
