Gray Picture & Error

Hey Everyone, I'm receiving some weird errors, and was wondering if anyone has experienced the same problems..

When trying to view TV or play a video i'm getting "There was a playback erorr in playback.Details: sage.PlaybackException: ERORR (-4,0x80040217): There was a problem rendering the video portion of the content for playback."

I'm using a PCI Express Radio 3850 HD and a ViXS puretv 4899 capture card.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks in advance!

Chris

More than likely a decoder problem. What mpeg2 decoders do you have installed, and what is Sage set up to use?

Mpeg Stuff

Hey,

It's a stock install of Vista Home Premium + All Windows updates, and the latest sagetv from sagetv.com

I just reformatted the machine, and installed a pinnacle PCHD-TV card i had laying around, the same exact error is popping up.

I've tried everything I know, even went out and bought a new card, I have a USB tuner I can try but I dont think it'll make a difference.

As far as encoders/decoders go, software wise all I have installed is divx and ffdshow, i've also tried without these installed (on the fresh install).

any ideas? Thanks!

Chris
