Two identical physical tuners - SageTV detects a single source
Hi all,
I just bought a second tuner card identical to the first one I have (Leadtek DTV1000S) which is a great little card for what is worth. Both are detected in Device Manager under Vista as two same devices with the same name but different IRQ's SageTV for some reason is unable to identify two separate cards in the source setup though ... I was tempted to manually edit Sage.properties and add a second card and change the video_capture_device_num value to 1 for the second card instead of the default of 0 The only issue I see with that is SageTV needs to somehow be able to identify the fact that there are two separate physical cards available. Has anyone managed to get something similar configured? Thanks in advance Mike |

With some help from SageTV support it appears that the reason why the second tuner was not being detected is because it was listed under the ignore_encoders line in sage.properties
Cleared that line and both are now visible. |
