I agree that the steps are not that big to set SageTv up compared to others... BUT when you have an issue then it all doesn’t matter, after two days and a 2am stint it starts to becomes the worst software ever invented.

I must have done 10 install attempts today.

Nick at Silicondust reports that they had a bug in beta1 and beta2 should be out tonight.... Sage just dropped me an email responding to my last bug report that the issue should be fixed in a beta update should also be out tonight Dec3rd.

As my youngest says 'Dad, Just smile and wave! Smile and wave.... where have I heard that recently...

My oldest is looking over my shoulder and told me to send you all a big

Maybe I should do a dance. My wife is in NY working and currently has a glass of wine in her hand watching the tree lighting, while I mess with the PVR and get the kids bathed and off to bed. At least the note from Nick is promising.

We have been working with SageTV and helping with QA... the new SageTV beta should be good.

I was given a new dshowcapture.dll by Qian earlier... It has brought back some of my channels, but there is still something going on.

I have my hopes up though

fix for multiple HVR-2250 tuners on Vista

From Qian Zhang (December 4, 2008):
Here is a fix
http://download.sage.tv/users/qian/6...howCapture.dll
it's not included in the beta 6.5.3.

It will be in 6.5.4 or later.
You may share this update on forum with users who have the same problem
