Meta Data and Searching

Hello Everyone,
I am looking for some help here. I don’t even know if this is possible but I would appreciate any info you might have.
I have a lot of movies and TV shows on my two media servers.

I would like to be able to add meta data to these shows, things like my own MPAA ratings ect. I would then like to be able to do a search in Sage to list only shows that have specific meta data in them.

Is this possible? If so, how would I go about doing it?

Well stock, you can create a <metadata>.properties file for each movie (where <metadata> matches the filename). Sage will then import that info into it's database. Beyond that there are imports/customizations to pull data from IMDB or DVD Profiler.

As far as searching, you might want to look at SageMC, not sure how far they've gone. I don't think the stock STV offers filtering for imported media.
