Peak DVB-T Dual Tuner PCI Card
Is anyone else using Peak DVB-T Dual Tuner PCI Cards with SageTV. I've bought a couple of these dual tuner cards to put into my SageTV Server to free up a couple of PCI slots for other use. I've put both cards in but windows XP SP3 seems to be able to only recognise one of these at a time as it complains in device manager that a device of that name(think that's what it said) is already installed. So I've remove one of the cards and it boots fine without any complaints. If I then go into SageTV I can add the two tuners from the one card to the tuner list and successfully scan for channels. If I then go to watch a channel the first tuner works fine, if I set that program to record and then switch to watch another channel I just get a blank screen.
So my questions are: 1. Does anyone know why I cannot get the second tuner to show an image ? 2. Does anyone know how to be able to have the two tuner cards installed at the same time ? Thanks Simon

Do you have a frq file for each tuner on the dual card?
I don't have the same card as you, but when you scan a tuner it should create a frq file. You need one of these frq files for each tuner on the card. Mine are named as below Nova-DT DVB-T Capture (Dev1 Path0) -0-DVB-T.frq Nova-DT DVB-T Capture (Dev1 Path1) -0-DVB-T.frq (the difference being the Path number). You can scan one tuner and then copy the file for the other tuner as long as you know what the file name should be - or do a scan on each tuner. As for running 2 cards, that sounds like a driver issue. Have you checked the manufacturers website for newer drivers? http://www.peakhardware.com/support/...aid=26&oaid=77 - you have to use IE as the site doesn't like Firefox. Yes, I have a .frq file for both tuners on the card (screen shot attached).
One of the tuners on the card works fine but if I try to use the other tuner I get an error on the placeshifter (screen shot attached) I have emailed Peak Hardware for some advice on using dual cards. Thanks Simon

Did you get anywhere with this? I am considering buying a PC (http://tinyurl.com/yllgp4u) that comes bundled with one of these to upgrade my sage machine and it would be good to be able to use it..
