So I upgraded my HTPC to view HD content. What else can I do?

So I recently updated my HTPC from a AXP 2400, 512mb, ati 9000 on XP to a msi 7411(has the 780m chipset), amd 4850, and 2gb of ram on vista.

I did this primarily because it has a 5x100w amp onboard and I wanted to view HD content without it stuttering. I realize there is some other stuff out there like FFDshow, but is there other stuff out there that I can use to tweak the picture with my new horsepower?

Are you watching 1080i or 720P content on this machine without any problems? I can't get the video to display correctly.

Ffdshow is a sw decoder, it won't leverage the GPU. If you use it make sure you get enough CPU to make it go.

I'm using my MSI 7411 as a client now running on Windows 7 Build 7100. Using Sage Client to stream off my server using HD-PVR.

Works very nicely now. Got a lot of help from this board.
