I'm pretty sure that should work.

I'm working on a new method of gathering this type of info which may work better than the current method. It'll be a little while before this comes out so hang in there

No problem I'm just glad someone is working on it. Again great job so far.

I have one small request I'd like to see implemented (for both your movie screen and the tv screen.) It would be nice if when the focus is on the horizontal menu bar, if pressing channel down moved focus to the far right, and channel up moved focus to the far left. As it is right now, I have to press <right>,<right>,<right>,<right>,<right> to get all the way over.

That feature is already in the latest beta version of Movies and its something I can add to the TV screen quite easily at a later date.

It is in the movie screen, though it seems backwards to my brain (channel up moves to the far right, channel down to the far left.)

Well jaminben is over in the UK and they drive on the other side of the road also. (I couldn't resist.)

I might point out that we drive on the correct side of the road and its almost every other country in the world that drives on the wrong side of the road

Having problems with sagemc and movie info screen

I have been messing around with SageMC and Movie info screen and had the fan art working at first but now does not work. I have all videos streaming from my HP mediaSmart Server as well as the artwork in the folders as well. Does anyone know how I can get this back working again?

It will pull the cover art but not the fan art now.

As EP said in the other thread you started, wait a few days for the newer fanart system to be implemented. Its currently not worth setting fanart up as its all about to change.

I have no idea, sorry. Sooner rather than later I would think.

New version added to the download section. Added support for Pheonix fanart api's. This import no longer supports IMDB images located in the default SageMC install directory.

Thanks! Can I install this over the old version? The install instructions say:
Quote:
This import will not import on top of a previous install of Advanced Movie Info Screen - so start with a version of SageMC that doesn't have the Movie Info Screen already imported. It will however import over the top of the old Movie Info Screen but it is not recommended so start with a version of SageMC that doesn't have that import already installed.
I'm not sure how to get "a version of SageMC that doesn't have that import already installed".

Thanks!

Nevermind - I figured it out. When you load the updated SageMC STV, it doesn't have any of the imports loaded.

Thanks guys for the great update, but I'm having some problems. I have the HD100 extender and loaded up SageMC 6.3.9. I confirmed that I had SageMC STV version as 6.3.9, one of the things I do note is that the sagemc.jar version is 6.3.8 (so I don't know if that is causing a problem or was just forgot to be updated)

On my server, I deleted all of my images in the folders and then using stuckless scraper, I initiated the importer and got about 90% of the cover art and metadata and loaded the rest manually.

My server was as responsive as before, but my HD extender is very very slow. This only occurs when I go to my Videos. If I toggle from one DVD to another, the circle of death occurs, and it takes literally 5-10 sec for it to move to one DVD to another, then when I press enter on one of the DVD it takes a long time to load the fan art.

I don't know if my HD100 just doesnt have the horsepower or what is going on. I did increase my java heap size and that did not help.

One thing that I also tried was revert to the stock sagemc xml w/o advanced movies info, so I'm going to post this also in the SageMC thread.

Have you tried all of these steps?

Here's a beta of the next version of AMIS. This will basically make use of the new features made available by stuckless, therefore you will need to use his BMT STVi import to make these extras work correctly.

As usual I'd advise making a backup before you try my import and I make no guarantees that this import wont break your working SageTV setup.

Additions

1.Added support to download images using the BMT STVi import via AMIS options.
2.Added support for Selecting backgrounds/posters.
3.Added support for Blu-Ray logos and other media type logos.
4.Added active user rating star system based on the agreed metadata standards.

Limitations

1.Works fine as long as you've installed and setup BMT plugin correctly.
2.You can select any image and it will work but you will need to restart you client/extender for the effects to take place. This is being worked on and maybe will work correctly in the future.
3.Works fine.
4.Works fine as long if you have used BMT to gather your metadata.
