D:\Fanart\Movies\Star Wars\Posters\any image name.jpg

D:\Fanart\Movies\Spider Man\Backgrounds\any image name.jpg

Yep that is how they were organized but the other person (I typed it in wrong in my post up above)

Will switch it back to SageMC when I get home.

Ok Fanart is definitely working in SageMC.

I have done the AMIS import and while goes through the motions to load it does not seem to make a difference in the look.

What did I miss?

Sounds like you are not doing the last step in the setup instructions.

Quote:
Next goto My Menu -> Settings -> SageMC -> Main -> Screen Specific Options -> Video Library -> Custom Programme Info Screen. Find "AMIS" in the list and select it.

How many times have you imported it? Remember that you can only import it once then everytime after that you have to goto back to a clean version of SageMC. Are you using the latest SageMC pre-release beta version SageMC_6_3_9a_23?

You are not importing more than one Amis on the same XML are you

When you go into default Amis it looks allot like the regular try hitting options do you get Amis options?

This must be it because I know I have done the import more than once.

Time to do the "clean install" method I guess.

I figured "talking it out" with you guys would do the trick.

LMK see what happens.

When you say its time to do the "Clean Install" method you don't actually need to re-install anything just go back to the Sage default UI and select "Advanced" > "SageTV Appllication Package(STVI or XML File)" and load Sage16x9 again. This will give you a clean copy of SageMC to re-import any imports you want to use.

All the jaminben lines from your properties file should keep it like you have it.

Just wanted to thank all you guys for your help have everything working now.

Still have a couple question though

With amis imported can we still use the multiple background and poster images?

How do you reset the AMIS options on the HD-200? Is it the? Even though I have done a whole new install once the Amis screen is selected on the HD-200 it seems to pull the old configuration not the default starting amis config.

No it doesn't support scrolling you can go into options and set your background you want displayed.

To reset delete all of your jaminben lines from your clien properties file.

You are correct Also note that the images don't always refresh until you:

a. change lots of screens (15+)

or

b. restart the client PC or extender.

Does the current version now have better support for detecting .m2ts files to display the HD icon? or has that not been changed?

Yes, it should see that its a Blu-Ray and display a logo.

@jaminben: Installed this last weekend and spent nearly 2 hours getting it precisely how I wanted it laid out due to the obscene number of customization options you built into it. Put simply:

I LOVE IT!!!

Absolutely AMAZING work you've done here! I wish I had the time to dedicate to learning how to do these things. The wife likes it, too! That "fade" effect between info displays is stylin'.

p.s. Hope your day is going better.

It seems that AMIS doesn't like movie titles with periods in the title. I spent a good 15 minutes messing with a few, such as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and Jackass 2.5. As soon as I removed the periods in both the title in SageTV, and in the folder name in my central fanart directory, the fanart would show up. I also noticed that it will always remove &'s from titles after using the BMT from the command line to download fanart. Meaning, you have to go into SageTV and manually add the ampersand to the title under the Edit Video Info dialog.

Anyone else noticing this behavior?
