STP HD-200 HD & SageTV version 6.5?
OK, I know the V6.5 beta is out, but just wanted to check this and make sure. When I preordered my extender today the email said, "be sure to have SageTV V6.5 or higher." I just wanted to make sure they are saying we 'should' be using the beta software instead of the official release if we are using this extender. Or is there an ETA on the official release yet? Thanks.

If you use Sage 6.4.8 the HD-200 requires a placeshifter/extender license. If you use Sage 6.5.3 beta (or newer soon) it recognizes the HD-200 as being a licensed device and you don't need the placeshifter license. AFAIK that is the only diference along with you won't have any of the improvments or fixes the latest brings.
