yup.
i assumed that the powerpoint directly above the powerpoint near thew server would be "best" option for most throughput.
Wrong.
The one on the other side of the room either had a better signal/less interference, or is on a different electrical circuit. (who knows - its a rented house).

But, thats all i did. (looked at updating firmware on the Aztech devices, opening ports, changing TCP settings, etc etc etc). In the end, just plugged it into the other point.

Readman,

What brand of powerline devices did you use? I am looking into purchasing these http://www.netgear.com/Products/Powe...s/HDXB111.aspx but will like to see which ones you use. Thanks.

I bought some called AZtech. They were much cheaper then the netgear ones still with same throughput (200MB).
