HD200 and mkv color

Just got the HD200 and hooked it up tonight. The only problem that I have is that 720p kmv files color is off. Every other file format plays fine but mkv's. They play and I and the sound is great but the color is all off and distorted. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Well this is not an mkv problem. The same thing happens when playing youtube video. not sure if color problem is the right term to use. It has vertical bars that have different colors. Ok the best way yo explain is be a picture. I'll try and get one up. Not sure what the problem would be. Any thoughts? Wonder if the HD200 is bad.

It could be the HD200, but it sounds like the TV setup or cables. How are you connecting it? Component? HDMI? Try different cables or a different TV first?

Already was thinking of that. Tried a different TV and then tried component then HDMI and all the same issue. Not sure. avi and recorded TV works great but mkv and youtube has the problem. I'll have to see what sage has to say about it. Thanks for the input valnar.

Thin vertical bars? It seems like I noticed black and green relatively thin vertical bars when there was no picture, but I was fighting with some other issue at the time and now don't remember what the circumstances were.

Here are a couple of screen shots. What do you guys think might be the problem?

It looks like you're missing the green and/or blue portion of the picture. If it wasn't for your first post, I'd be thinking cables too. Since you've apparently got some files that are playing correctly, I think your cables have to be okay. This one is pretty bizarre. You're probably going to have to get with support so they can look at your log and figure out what's going on. I'm thinking you've either found a weird firmware bug or there's something flaky about your hd200. Probably a dumb question, but have you confirmed the files play correctly through Sage on your server or even better yet on an HD100?

iammike cables were the first thing that came to my mind also. avi, dvix and regular hd TV plays fine. Recorded show, standard and HD also plays just fine. Yep I'll have to get in contact with support. Thanks for the reply!
