First time SageMC install for HD200?

Long time Sage user (since version 1.x), but I've always been happy with the default STV. I never needed it to do anything different.

But now there are a few addons which are being made only for SageMC, so I want to give it a try. I have the latest v6.5.5 RC and want to install it for my HD200. Which file do I download? And are they any patches, preferred or necessary, to make it work better with 6.5.5 RC and the HD200?

You should only need to download the full install for SageMC, install and then load the SageMC_169.xml STV file from your HD-200 and you should be set to go...

There is so much talk about this STV, I would never have time to start from the beginning to read it all. Are their any updated FAQ's which address only the latest issues, or other gotchas I should be aware of? Or does it just work, as intended?

It is really stable and should just work once you load it... Usually you start running into problems once you start adding additional plugins that are not compatible, but it creates a new xml file for each plugin you add so you can always go back to the stv prior to a plugin...
